For perfect pulled pork we smoke it for anywhere between 8 and 12 hours. It will take you all day with some meat prep the day before but the results speak for themselves. Preheat oven to 250.

I used a bone in pork shoulder for more flavor. The best pork cuts for pulled pork are called boston butt pork shoulder pork roast or pork loin. For my instant pot shredded pork i prefer using pork loin because its a bit leaner so you dont have as much fat to trim or in the final recipe yet it.
